It’s been an absolute pleasure for me to write this article for all my friends and the newbies in the blogging circles. I have been receiving emails from friends and newbie bloggers asking me many questions about how to create a great blog. Since, I have been running a blog after doing great research so I finally decided to give them some insights about blogging. So I present to you WordPress for beginners 2018 tutorial series.

It is time for me to share my knowledge with you all so that even you can get a greater audience for your work. I will try to be as thorough as possible. Today, I will try to explain about the basic steps that you should follow to create a classic blog. Let’s begin, WordPress for beginners 2018 tutorial.

Things to think about BEFORE creating a blog :-

  1. To select the right forum to create your own blog.
    1. There are many forums for creating your personal blog but the two most popularly used ones are,
      1. WordPress.com
      2. Bloggers.com
    3. You can select as per your own requirements as both have their pros and cons. As far as I am considered, I prefer WordPress over Bloggers simply because it is much easier for me to understand and the community here is much bigger and better.
  1. Selecting the Niche for your blog
    1. To break it down for you, hypothetically, if blogging is like novels then the niche is the genre. You have to pick a niche. IT IS IMPORTANT.
    2. The niche would dominate your blogs content.
    3. Your niche should be something that you should feel comfortable in, as you would be spending a lot of timing writing about it.
    4. You should be passionate about it.
    5. If you have no niche and you are just trying to create a personal blog then you can just go ahead and start with creating the blog.

It is a blog and people will stay regular if they think they know you more than just by your work.
